Watched the video...good stuff! The point raised therein by Paul Kukubo about people regarding (assuming?) that safaricom's mpesa API's access is inflexible opens the whole can of worms as regards to IP security so that the bigger better moneyed companies don't steamroll over you and capitalize on your idea before you do.
Could anyone here kindly give some direction to us legal noobs with regards to how exactly someone should go through the process of protecting your intellectual property in a purely Kenyan context when one wants to go public with a tech product/solution?

After the meeting at the Ministry of Infocom yesterday where the ICTbrd, one VC, a Swdish rep, Ericsson reps and a handful of techies, I tried looking up Tulipe but their site seem sot have gone down.
