[Skunkworks] utp cable for Power Over Ethernet for nanostation

Hi anyone who could help out here, Am having issues issues powering a nanostation2. The cable is about 30 meters long (cat5e) but I don't get a connection on the lan side of the POE. If I use a shorter cable it work ok. Just to make sure the cable (30mtrs) works i can use it between a switch and my laptop. Question: Could the utp cable quality which is low so it has high resistance? How can I solve this issue? Could using a cat6 cable help?
