You say you are running Bitdefender and Kaspersky. That is a terrible idea because both anti-viruses will recursively check on what each other is doing, happily gobbling up memory. Pick one.<br><br>As to finding out what is running the following tools<br>

I&#39;m using a machine that when booted, uses over 50% of the memory (way<br>

A laptop on the same network behaves the same. The funny thing is that<br>
this memory is not accounted for (on the processes), and using other<br>
tools that show processes including hidden ones doesn&#39;t show either.<br>
There&#39;s Bitdeffender running, (laptop has kaspersky) and they are<br>
automatically updated. Both are on XP.<br>
Anyone familiar with this? Please help.<br>
