Mhh , yealink does ip sip phones, the pbx runs on asterisks , it's a good place to start for any company adoption ip telephony as they have good performance and anyone who can read can manage the system unlike the specialized training for cisco and avaya so I think those should be his selling points , the downside of it is that when you get to enterprise level of telephony you will need the cisco and Avaya of this world , sure you could get devs to tinker with asterisks and customized the heck out of it , but at the end of the day , you're going to have to upgrade.
