I can't find proof that Oracle is behind LibreOffice. Can you give any leads? Why would Oracle start LibreOffice if they already own OpenOffice?

fork called LibreOffice and guess who's behind it? Oracle
Corporation!!
If Google want to brag about Android being an open platform, they'd
better diversify the NDK before disgruntled developers come up with a
long term solution for smart phones not limited to frameworks or
languages.
MeeGo will be the only true open platform for developers once its out,
