It was a waste of time.
They are still experiencing delays even during off peak hours.
I still believe MPESA on friday is a no no!
I did an upgrade of the sim n as much as it has the functionality "Search SIM Contacts"
it always gives the "No Match Found!"
Probably it was programmed to respond that way ONLY!

Yesterday (30th Nov 2010) at around 8pm I wanted some money urgently. I was around Antonios so I figured out I could try getting some pesa via the Equity ATMs near that place. When I went through the process of getting the AUTH Key, I got the message that "M-Pesa ix experiencing problems and I should wait for blah blah before trying again"
It is now almost 1 day since that activity and no message from M-Pesa giving me the Auth Key:-)
Someone told me yesterday that the process through Equity ATMs takes so much time, that I should expect the Auth key even after midnight.
Now, thinking the upgrade was suppose to address such skepticism with the service, I want to ask again - What did Safaricom's M-Pesa upgrade meant to address, that a client can "feel"?
