So last week, I succumbed to the OS 4 charm and upgraded my iPhone 3GS. Initially, everything went on very well until a few hours later when i realized that my battery life has gone from almost 24 hours to just around 6. I tried everything, from disabling 3G and shutting down all background applications but this did not work. So finally, I re-installed and all seemed fixed but only for a few days before my battery woes reappear.
This morning I took the dive to OS 4.0.1 and I am still Synchronizing and will give updates tomorrow.
All devices except iPhone 4 can now be *Jail-broken* and *Unlocked*. iPhone 4 can only *Jail-broken*.
So, anyone here running a 3GS on iPhone 4? I would love to hear your experiences on the battery life after upgrading.
