Hi Guys, Allow me to build up on the KPLC question that was initiated by Mwangi. 1.Does Kenya power have a portal where I can download my usage statement for prepaid meter user? 2.I moved to a new house in the month of Dec and I have not added any new electronics in the house besides what I had in the previous house.My main concern is about the amout of money Iam currently spending on tokens.In the previous house I would spend a max of 2,000k per month on prepaid tokens but I have found myself spending e.g Dec=4,000kes and Jan=4,150kes.per month.I have raised the issue with Kenya power but according to them everything seems to be normal and thr is no alarm,whereas I have consulted with my neighbors and they are all in shock as they are spending a max of 2,500Kes per month. I need to be advised on how to manage the above situation with Kenya Power as I fully convinced that the prepaid meter is faulty and requires replacement. Many thanks. I am rather confused by the rates used by Kenya Power for issuing power units. 2000 /- does not get you a consistent no. of units yet the exchange rate is rather stable. Just this morning 2,000 bob got me 117 units which lasts about 12 days at 10 units a day.
How much do listers get? Is it consistent?
I also think they have zones with Westlands paying way more than Eastlands.
