Scan the drive externally.. then ofcourse sm system files will be deleted.. then run a repair using command prompt chkdsk /p then chkdsk /r. then try boot.. This should work bt if it doesnt back up and format the damn thing..<br>

i have also encountered the same problem at my workplace but ti think it is a virus. i can attribute it to the fact that i cannot even boot using safemode, i repair and it is still the same error i get<br>anyway, just re install<br>
