Hi,<br>        Would anyone know if the following is possible;<br><br>I have one SNMP Reciever = &quot;Server&quot; <br><br>group A = set of servers (linux) - comm string public YYY<br><br>group B = second set of servers.  (linux) - comm string private XXX<br>
<br>Is it possible that the &quot;Server&quot; contain both public and private comm strings under conf file, such that it receives traps from both sets of servers.<br><br><u><b>FILTER</b></u><br><br>1. Yes , public is unsafe, No not using snmp v3 , Yes preference is config file to be changed on the Server to accommodate the group B  (private XXX) set of servers but without affecting the group A (public) set of servers - Assume latter already configured.
