^^ hope you're doing that on a VM... if "rm -rf /" runs even for one second and you Ctrl+C the damage is already done - your system will most likely freeze and never boot again. I had that rough experience on Ubuntu some years back: "rm -rf /" vs "rm -rf ./" [?]
