It would be interesting if we could keep an open running database of that for at least Nairobi.  It could power a lot of location based apps.

i like it. well occasionally the providers switch the cell tower id's. so i do not know if the update is reflected on the api..

I heard a rumor about someone getting the GPS locations for the towers (base stations) for the mobile operators in Kenya.  Anyone know anything about that?
