Thanks for the info, There are also quite a bunch of these guys, esp in the evenings mostly hanging around Archives-Ambassador hotel area. You will be a target if you have a backpack bag with you. They will approach you in the naming of of "a kind request for 50 bob ya supper" and within a fraction of a minute, you are surrounded by a group of 5-10 guys. Be wary of this laptop thief. He came to our office posing as a customer in the evening at around 6 when everyone was either out or leaving and the security was lax. He proceeded to steal 2 laptops mine included. I hear that they operate as a cartel and frequent offices that are outside the CBD in the evenings when people are leaving the office coz that's when they cant be easily noticed or questioned. All in all I managed to track and recover my laptop but the guy is still at large.
