I called their customer care line and got directs to send SMS to 234. I sent message, "All" to 234, got the settings, stored them, made sure phone's configuration points to it, restarted phone (without removing battery) and nothing!

The phone's network says Zain. A different Sim card says Airtel and has net connectivity.
