I'm glad to see a number of people who've read the book.... When stuff like what's going in in Libya happens, I understand - thanks to John Perkins. I learnt about the book from this link [ http://www.ennex.com/~Marshall/sophics/Kenya.asp ] which is also a good read if you love to know what goes on in the "global underground".
@Simon, thnks will have a read. :-)
Now my question is to the Administrators of this forum, please let us know. I already have an vision/idea of what needs to be done but would like the website/youtube material to be hosted on the skunks server. The website will be multi-language. The youtube videos will be in all kenyan languages, including urdu. If possible I'd like the skunks logo to be on our processes, maybe the logo holding the kenyan flag and we need a short url. Our goals are non-political and do not affect anyone's personal or political views nor are we saying who to vote for, nor will we entertain any abuse or slander of govt officials/politicans or aspiring candidates as our goal is purely to create awareness of a proposed change. When we are ready with the technology, we will send out email reminders to all political parties, donor communities, world bank and those that can help kenyan achieve what they want. This is some thoughts in a nutshell.
Our goal is to reach Millions of kenyans with our thoughts, whether they have internet access or not. We want to reach the policeman who is serving on the front lines in the most remote of kenyan places because he/she is doing their duty but maybe living in conditions far worse than those living under poverty. We want to reach everyone and even those who have never known what kenya can be.
These are some of my thots for now, and my silence in the next few days only means that the this project has not been abandoned but is in high gear.
Your thots and comments are most welcome, collectively we can achieve much. In the future, I'd love to read such a headlines "Safaricom & WorldBank set to digitize Kenya" or "Donor funding now achieves its goals"and it just may have started here.
Rgds. :-)
