All we can do is inform those we can. I guess with so many people banking with Equity and using the online service, it is just a matter of time before they fall prey to this phishing scan. I think once you login with your credentials to the fake site, the fraudsters quickly login with your details in the real Equity bank and transfer all the cash to some accounts they control. People being gullible is unavoidable, but if you can inform them and at least save a few, then that's all you need to do. Like for instance just send a mail to all your friends about the fake site. Also I think Equity should take note of this and follow up with authorities and have the site taken down.
