Orange has not bothered to disclose that their new tariff does not support the five numbers @ 1bob even on their website and furthermore switching back is it possible?

I can understand where you are coming from. To have a customer service
person hang up on you!! To tell you the truth, I'm just waiting to finish the airtime on this sim card or the airtime expires and I'm not ever bothering them again. As it is, they cappd their speeds to a maximum of 14 kbps and its been that way for a while. and I dont think they are about to cange their trend.
It's a really sad and bad picture when such organisations start treating their clients as people whom they are doing a favor.
I live in Thika and I'm hoping YU can get it's signal to my place. From the comments I've gathered from this list and other forums, it's not as bad.
Otherwise as Aki had said earlier on a separate thread, these "voice" telcos might just have to focus on their core business which is just voice and sms. They are clearly not doing very well when it comes to data.

My Internet automagically 'returned' after this and another assertive post on 'ke-users' list. I had already lodged a formal complaint with CCK earlier last week. Meanwhile, I am taking stock of their service quality and have openly asked them not to contact me directly.
Meanwhile, I have to struggle from commenting further on this issue as I await regulator's further advice.
