We have been testing out RSupport (www.rsupport.com/) which works over wifi or 3g with no restrictions on the subnet.  So far looks pretty good.  Only downside is that unless you have one of the very few supported phones you have to root your device.  We are trying to work with them and Huawei to get the Ideos officially supported.

Not helpful at all. You have to be in the same subnet. I need to access
mine from different networks.
