That might be the problem .. the pc has been in use for some time although the pc is a branded hp and the quality is good.

 

Frank, quiting skype and starting it after other softwares have started; solves this problem but only temporalily, I unchecked an option in skypes connection settings that says somrthing like ..change ports...

The problem stopped but after a few days ... a week rather.. its back... Skpye must be causing this mayhem ..maybe the user checked that option again,
