There are times some organizations will insist on a particular gender - we should not question such, I believe, because they have their reasons. I don&#39;t see that as discriminatory. Perhaps they&#39;ve had bad experience with males and so would like to try a female.<br>

Perhaps they want to maintain some gender balance within the organization. Saying it seems discriminatory is a bit short-sighted. However, you do not expect an employer to explain to you why they are specific about a certain gender for a given position.<br>
