I wonder why someone would want to buy safaricom then shift to zain,
or yu. Price wars cannot be a justification. Maybe features war.

There are people who have invested heavily on their networks in terms
of service features like Mpesa, paybill, and other subscriber
services.

And finally, once you have migrated say from safaricom to orange, how
will I know in which network you belong? I would wish to send you
Mpesa, or call you expecting rates like those of my network

Let me try to think outside the box here;
Why do I have to buy credit for a certain provider? Why can't I just buy credit and use it from whichever provider? I buy credo ya 100, put in my orange sim card and call a landline, then swap sim card to zain and browse kiasi the put in my safcom sim card and pay for elec.

You can probably guess my next question; why ain't there a universal sim card?

Yeah, and "universal credit", perhaps:-)
