@David, The iPad 3 64 GB (I am assuming 4G) goes for USD 829 plus taxes which ideally brings the cost in the US to around USD 900. And a weeks lead time from Apple Stores. So $ 1,445 is not exactly twice, but since this is in KE, factors the cost of logistics, convenience.
