doesnt yahoo give options to reset the passord if you claim it aint working which include sending a text message to the phone, other email addresses you put in?
so if my email is abc@yahoo.com when I created that account yahoo requires another email address so they can send instructions to reset you password. if you try to change it yahoo will email you for confirmation. so even if it was hacked for the person to change the secondary email address the recipient of that address has to confirm. Has you friend checked his secondary email account?
