i think we are all missing the point here. Mailing lists are an intrusive technology, they intrude into your space and demand for your attention. <br>All the others are not, they require some initiative to have you visit the site and actually participate. sorry to be a pessimist but you will probably lose some of the listeners who chip in once in a while but are mostly listenerds. these are a very important constituent of this, say for instance the MJs and Kai Wulffs, i doubt theyll have the time / energy to register, login and sign on to check the daily dose of rantings. <br>
<br>Id put my money on integrating skunkworks onto a forum and vice versa, and having the option of subscribe to a certain category. (check mail2forum to see what i mean. <br><br>The immediate progression i would suggest is to work on moderating, inevitably, the quality of content in the group will be directly related to how much moderating is done, cause whether we like it or not, the more the number of persons on the list, the more the chances of &quot;stray bullets&quot; <br>
