hey, cracking a telecoms engineering job is not easy and not hard at the same time only if you know how and where to look for the open positions. networking and persistence in your search will really go an extra mile in securing a position. starting out as an intern or grad trainee is a very good start. i recently learned the hard way that you have to take an opportunity by all means, nobody is really going to hand to you on a sliver platter... and some favor from ABOVE. I think its really hard to find a job especially if its not advertised, I know that i have never found a job in my life, 6 years after I graduated. I may have never seriously looked but I think the best way usually would be references by people who already know you or advertisement.
