
I once applied for this back when I was in campus, its not as easy as it seems to get in. The mentoring organization, not Google, have to be convinced that one can actually deliver. Considering that the syllabus for teaching programming is pathetic, students interested in programming have to learn it by themselves and lets face it, there are more fun things to do than learn the innards of C++.
