Yep !! I have deleted my public account in Google in order to remove all social stuff that Google is offering (Google+, Google Buzz)... It's too much, the all-social route launched by Google really sucks ! And furthermore, their new design sucks also :(
Anyway, still very happy with Gmail and Google Reader (haven't find better) !
