Kenya has a lot to be proud of in mobile (apps) industry though so many people are trying to be cautious in admitting this. Its natural to be cautious especially when it comes to African projects which is never short of surprises. Its up to Kenyans to to segment the market so that there will be a wider spectrum of sub-services and markets .Possibly this would stabilize the industry and employ as many Kenyans as possible.

This big tech guy`s statement provide highlights on what Kenyans should take control of before enjoying the tech boom.

By the way its a good statement to encourage foreign big fishes to see Kenya as a new  hub that is not risk to invest in.

Something to note:Kenyans should make sure that its always easy for potential talents to get in.Otherwise there will soon be so many excuses why big companies employ Taiwanese in Kenya than Kenyans
in a field which looks more Kenyan than anything. With claims like
Missing of Strategic Planners in Kenya and the sort.

Please push it further, move to designing of handsets+manufacturing+branding, etc just to place your country in an advantageous position.
