@jacob its not about the content thats the issue, its about the contact information being published openly. I can bet you if this goes on long enough that website will become an internet scammers haven

I am still yet to understand what the issue is. This forum according to my understanding was meant to be used by techies to share ideas and problems. That is why subscription is open to anyone. Is there anything so special about what we say that other people should not be able to see.
I believe local content should be broadcasted on all available fora so that people can know Kenya has an active group of techies.
I see no problem with afraha. Collins do your thing.

email addresses, phone numbers and the whole shebang you post
instantly becomes public info, since this is a public list and the
archives are searchable;

In short, don't  have anything in your posts that you'd mind the whole
world seeing. IMO, I don't see a major issue...
