I think if you are on M-pesa, Zap and YuCash, you are already registered, well unless there is a reason the telcos want to re-register a user. If you've got more than one line, IMHO, you need to visit the respective telco for registration. How I wish they could have a dedicated link where one can register online just the KRA Portal. If under 18, methinks, a parent or guardian can register on behalf of the minor. If you are in the village, wait during market days and go to register your line. Well, I guess they also have a system of de-registering a number when I no longer need it! I called Safaricom CC (200) this morning to ask about the registration process, and I was quite disappointed by the lady.
"Please, you have to go to our care centres and collect the forms". Now I just wondered what that means. Do I collect the forms and fill them myself and take them back or those at the care centres will fill these forms, based on the identification that I provide? I see a messed up exercise here, especially when one individual holds lines from YU, Zain, Safaricom, Orange!
