I have a laptop, HP 6710B running Windows Server 2008 (x64) R2 STD which I'd like to virtualize. I actually intend to run Windows 7 on this laptop but install VMWare Wkstn and get the Windows SVR running inside. All my attempts to use VMWare converter to virtualize this live machine have failed. Did anyone succeed in doing this? I've already googled for possible solutions so don't suggest it:)
