Washington,<br><br>Ping is more of a download (a GET request) from a server hence is showing such a good response, maybe your uplink is really bad.<br><br>OR <br><br>You might be trying to authenticate on the SMTP which is not necessary. Check if in your Advanced mail settings if you log in to your server.<br>
<br>OR<br><br>The server is unstable... when loaded it bogs down for a while.
