A heads up, Co-op bank requires one to re-apply for online transaction authorization. You needn't go their, they can mail you a PDF form (i still had to follow that up with a call though). The email is cardauthorization@co-opbank.co.ke, the number to call is still 0202776000

reiterating what the others are saying, their visa card has always worked. they disabled all of them some time last year but one call is all it takes. and you get SMS notifications of the transactions.
