So the message title betrayed it just like our last names! Some of us are allergic to Android and I head to the AppStore and find the app - am sure most iPhone lovers in this forum have been giving this thread the 'Archive' button, but looks like there is one for us!

Guys, this OkHi works like a charm! I installed today morning and Timbo paid me a visit. I didn't have to give him directions at all. Just that phone call if he can visit and the next thing he calls me to say he is at the gate!!!

Here we go - http://goo.gl/ToJTcm - some photos we took as evidence that it works, and he also brought me delicious cup cakes!!

I also backed out when I was asked for my phone no. without any explanation. In this day in age of premium sms scams I'm wary of dishing out my no. to an app without a reason being provided.

Why not use e-mail?

Hey Timbo,
I got the latest version and it didn't work as well until I changed my location settings.

I believe most people have their location setting turned off (for privacy and power saving reasons). I suggest that you make the app check whether the location status is turned on or off (which I think Android API or Google location framework provides) and ask users whose locations are turned off to turn on first.

Also, do you have a privacy policy or terms? I didn't see one. Something like 'by clicking start, you agree to the following terms yadayadayada'. I'd be s#-#t scared to share my home address and personal details without knowing what my info will be used for.

Otherwise the app offers such smooth functionality and exhibits a beautiful interface.

Regards,
Joseph.

Joseph, thanks so much for trying the app, apologies that you weren't able to create an address.

We pushed a fix yesterday evening that will hopefully help your problem, can you check that you have the latest version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.okhi.app

If not, it would be great if you could update the app and try again.
If you do have the latest, would it be possible to send me your mobile no so that I can call you and try to debug the problem?

Thanks again for your support,

Timbo

Hello Timbo,
I installed the app on my Nexus 4 but unfortunately it couldn't go past 'finding your location'.

Otherwise the interface looks great and hope to try it out again soon.

Regards,
Joseph.
