I read an interesting book recently that disputed the fact that gravity comes from the core of the earth, something in the direction of new physics

We have always had a theory that gravity pulls, remember the string and rock being swung around theory? Well new theories advance that maybe its not a pull after all but a push.....In old physics magnetism, electricity and gravity are separate forces
in this new one they are a unified force.....cant remember it accurately but it made sense then
