I am with you. We usually pay 4,000 Ksh per month (big family) and all of a sudden we got a bill for 17,000 Ksh. How that makes any sense I cannot figure out. My husband spent an entire day in their offices only to be told to go to the main office branch. What is with customer service in Kenya? guys ,
i totaly need some insight here,
on 2nd march i paid KPLC my bill of 280KSH and my balance was reading -19.80 ksh...which was very correct since i paid in excess.
now in less than 20days...my bills are reading over 2500ksh.
to make it worse i have been away from for 2 months and i had switched my main switch off.yet i get my unit reading that i have consumed over 190 units.
Is this logical and which is the right channel to resolve with KPLC.?
Thanks for raising this issue. I too am affected. For the last three months, I have had to pay an average KES 2,500 every month to KPLC, yet there is nothing that has changed in the house that would suddenly make by consumption to double. Before that, I used to pay average 1,200 monthly. There must be something that KPLC are upto, and I surely need to know what it is.
