Based purely on what I have seen in movies and video games, IMHO, I think that tactical intelligence in such a situation as this would be useful in identifying who is where and what are they capable of...And I found this... a radio controlled "toy" car with 75 feet range, microphone, video and infra red. Now, this is considered a toy, I am pretty there are more bad ass versions of this for non-toy usage. So, drop a couple hundred of these literally everywhere in the building, the bad guys can only destroy so many before one of them captures useful intelligence. Possibly have some dev at DOD whip up a grid algorithm to control the toys, so that they cover the most ground without overlapping. And if one is feeling particularly sinister, they can be rigged with explosives, and be used in a kamikaze style of operation.I am also pretty sure that RC quadrocopters (like this, and this) equipped with surveillance gear might also be useful. Its interesting what sort of crap one can pickup from movies, and attempt to apply it to solve real life problems, especially where conventional solutions seem to be taking 3 days too long...My deepest condolences to those who have been affected by this tragedy, may you find peace and comfort in your hearts. On Mon, Sep 23, 2013 at 12:27 PM, Okechukwu <okechukwu@gmail.com> wrote:
@Kivuva - I think they can - remember the words "I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend your right to say it?" - seems not right but its all about some pent up energy & saying what they want is actually a right - doing what they are doing is however not debatable./Ok3chOn Mon, Sep 23, 2013 at 10:23 AM, Kivuva <Kivuva@transworldafrica.com> wrote:
Thank you Okechukwu. Can Alshabab claim that their fundamental right to communicate and expression has been infringed? This is a typical Internet Governance question. Is calling the good people of Kenya "Kuffar" acceptable? The African Internet Governance Forum is taking place at Multimedia University from 24th-26th September 2013, and you are all welcomed.

Of technology ...
The media the command center used to communicate to the world
@HMS_press was suspended by twitter. Is that necessary while they can
still give interviews to BBC and other media companies? Should we
allow them to converse with the outside world?
