Has anyone tried playing Ingress on it? Also, I read somewhere that the radio sticks and video does not have anti-shake whatsit installed as well as signal reception on the phone being iffy. Could someone confirm or deny these allegations and give feedback on Ingress performance on it? It is the main reason I wanna ditch my current 3.5" screen xperia phone. Getting custom ROMs for the Tecno is quite tough, there is not much dev support for Mediatek processors that power all Tecnos except the Tecno N3 that was a quality reference design device.
The cost for Mediatek was down and they decided no more Qualcomm. Tecno packs their device with a free microSD because they gibe them very low internal storage. With Android 4.0 onwards, this is a challenge. Ofcourse they don't do software upgrades, so you will be stuck with what you get till you buy the next one.
They are a good starting point particularly due to value for money and that they allow many get 5 inch devices at kshs 23000.
