Don't understand what you mean by outlook support. Outlook supports POP, IMAP and MAPI so you can pretty much use it with any mail server

I think he would have brought it up because of the native outlook support.  It was still not a good answer because the original question was on open source mail server and his answer isn't.  I guess he never read the question carefully.

If outlook support is important,  you may look at SOGo. If you can integrate it with z-push, you could also support mobile devices with exchange active sync
