Hi guys, Sometime back I got a LightWave USB TV/AV Device which comes with honestech TVR 2.5 software. This device works well in Windows. But for sometime - I've tried to make it work in Linux - Ubuntu 10.04 and openSUSE 11.1 & 11.3 to not success. I've also been researching n this but there isn't much on this device. It's not listed under the TV Tuners recognized under Linux and not listed under /dev/. Trying to install the software with Wine & Crossover, the software installs but fails at installing the drivers. Device Details Product: Vimicro TV USB2.0 Manufacturer: Z-Star Microelectronics Corp. Anyone who has experienced this before? I'd prefer USB Tuners for use on laptops & desktops. However, PCI isn't out of the question. My use is simple TV, Radio and good reception in and out of the country. I's also like to know about availability in Nairobi.
