@Erick, with the WiFi only iPad, it means you only get access to the internet when you are in an area with WiFi. With the WiFi+3/4G, you can put in a sim card from your fav operator, buy your bundles and enjoy internet while on that long trip to shaggs.

Oh yeah, you can still get internet on the go on the WiFi only by using some "dongles" which create a sorta WiFi network around you, there is one from Safaricom which costs 12k.

I am not sure of differences in software/settings due to country of purchase, but I can assure you that a particular model will be more expensive if bought from UK as opposed to US, and even more expensive if bought from KE.

Can anyone confirm that they're getting "4G speeds" in the Nairobi
area, or at least "3G speeds"?  Does it matter which country the iPad
is purchased? Thanks.
