Now that I see there are Top gear fans, well am one I do not know how my wife will take it when I get one.. soaps ama Topgear, Like Okech said its not the size of the engine its what it can do, Top gear also did another trial where they tested a Toyota Prius 1500 cc with a BMW cant remember the engine size, so Jeremy was to drive the BMW and just keep up with the Toyota turns out the Toyota actually consumed more, he concluded " its not the engine size or the car, its how you drive" if you stepped on the BMW and produced all the horses it has then you better be a Minister, but if you kept to speeds of 140 and below you wont be hurt that much. But, oh yes there is a but ... , they is cruising speeds not town drive, which is totally different. Pls do not forget to factor in the weight of the car, top speed, aerodynamics, tyre size. Also consider whether deflectors are being used and spoilers are installed, top speed, etc etc.
