@marto, I think I'll take a different road in your case.
I need something that syncs with my gmail on the fly, lets my gf know where I am on Latitude (ok, she knows my lat/long but she's not that paranoid), syncs all my sms and call logs to gmail...hell, its ecosystem vs. ecosystem. I can't imagine having to go back to
something@live.com for that. At the same time, I bet with WP7 I would max out my smartphone experience paired with a computer running M$. Damn!
The problem here is Nokia have locked themselves to the M$ ecosystem. If I could have Android on Nokia I'd die harder with them. Honestly I don't care what the badge is, it could even be Toyota. The phone OS and how it integrates with other software experiences around me is what matters most. I wouldn't be surprised if Google retaliates in some way by having sections of the Googlesphere only accessible to Android phones.
I urge you to consider the scenario as WP7 vs Android vs IOS4. That's where the war is. When you compare them purely from the software standpoint, Google is ahead of the pack. Apple sales guys are gritting teeth and shitting bricks because Android does not have to have that 'exclusivity' tag. If I want to roll simple, I'll have the Huawei U8150. If I want floss, I get something like the Atrix. Win-win.
Guys and gals, if I get a more compelling proposition, I'll change my tune...
