These degree certs are not useless,  unless they themselves are useless & they need to be employed to make use of them. They can start plying their craft. If they are serious, they will go very far. Customers will not demand to see their certs for them to buy their services. They will just remand a good referral.So they can only let themselves down.

Echo that.

ERB has had those claims ever since 2002, only a year after the Bachelor of Science in Electronic and Computer Engineering curiculum was introduced in JKUAT.

I've got plenty of folks who took that course, and are now competently serving humanity. (Quite a number are on this list too).

As we speak, I have a nephew who just completed his high school education. Guess what he's planning to take at the University? That same course; all the hullabaloo notwithstanding!

Methinks that a bottleneck would only come about if you were to think "Tenders" or "Public positions" in which ERB have a say.
Nevertheless, those concerns have weight.
