Go with a fellow skunk or smaller dealer coz if the board is faulty HP will charge u over 1/2 the laptop cost!!!!
I'll take a shot at it myself over the weekend.
As for Data your last vendor should have advised you to back up!!!!
Actually, I couldn't have, the machine was dead, but the vendor should have backed up my stuff before wiping my drive clean after resurrecting it.
