Good observation Mr Kagwe,

How many lawyers would give such information for free?
We IT guys only tend to charge for 'hands on' work.
We sort of offer High Level Designs free of charge. We should introduce a consultation fee, just like doctors.

Sorry to ask this and may I be forgiven if I'm wrong. Why are ICT proffessional always willing to provide information /services free of charge. The guy asked for a consultant, let it be and we could have someone earn some money out of this work.

James,

When "we can provide", where do you see the word "free"? LOL
Well, if it's implied, then these ICT professionals do make money through other means, and are willing to share information. Now , me here sees nothing wrong in sharing. It's how ICT guys live. If there was no sharing, this list wouldn't be there. Above all, sharing is our way of CSR - giving back to the community:)
