You may be right about Safaricom probably remaining waaaay ahead versus competitors in terms of revenues - but I can bet my bottom dollar that the next results they post will show a massive drop in profit as compared to the same period last/current year.

As a listed company this is going to have a huge impact on their share price. Already some analysts are telling their customers SELL, SELL about Safaricom as of this morning......

Anyway, let's watch the drama unfold!

Safaricom are currently the only network that can leverage economies of scale... Basically, if all charge the same rate, Safaricom, all factors remaining constant, will have at least 6 times the revenue of the competition given market share...
