Skunks KE, I had another mind rush and will share this. For our displaced kenyans during the period Dec 2007-Mar2008, do you think we can create a web application. I'm already thinking of creating a domain called "Displaced Kenyan" which we can find ways to alert those out there suffering?

What can the web app do?

1) Capture the data of the displaced person. They will have to go to a cyber to register phone number, upload photo, details of displacement and a verification.

2) The aim is to capture and create the displaced persons database and handover/put pressure to the relevant ministry in govt to act upon. I've read that kenyan displaced persons have also formed their own commities, so it may also help them too.

3) The displaced person, once registered will have a ticket ID when they registered and this ID will be used as confirmation that the person's state has been resolved or not.

This is a start of publicy accessable data and how much the govt has done to restore the lives of those affected by things that were not their own doing. Can it work and can Skunks KE give this important project a national priority?

I've just scratched the surface of the idea and I know each and everyone is busy with many things, including trying to make ends meet so no pressure but can we at least try. Or if you have a better idea, please share too.

Rgds.
