Mwangi, My jump to linux was more dramatic and I never regretted it. My Windoze machine crashed one day in First Year campus. I lost all my data, applications etc. I just loaded RedHat 5 and have never looked back. Sometimes just take the plunge stop worrying about what may or may not work. You're intelligent enough to solve any problem that comes your way. Only Tip is to use Google, Linux How-to-s & Skunkworks.
