well  tanazania   was a nightmare for me 2 weeks back i got charged  for receiving calls (postpaid) my partner on prepaid NO CHARGES AT ALL for receiving .... on asking safaicom they recon i should have manual changed to vodacom upon arriving tanzania  same case applies for uganda..anyway purchasing a line for the country would be cheaper option to avoid disappointment dont  know wether  they  agree  with me <br>
